Login Problems?

First: The most common issue with log in failure is incorrectly entering your login information. Please double-check both your Shopper ID and Password before clicking Log In. If you need to verify your Shopper ID or Password, click the ID/Password Lookup link on the left hand side of the screen or the Need Your ID or Password? link beneath the login form.

Second: If you are sure you are entering your login information correctly, your browser may be incorrectly configured to use our website. We use Microsoft’s Active Server Pages to provide you individually tailored web pages after logging in, and this requires use of a small cookie to associate your browser session with your login. This cookie is not used to track or keep any personal information. To make sure your browser is properly configured, please make sure you’ve configured any cookie-blocking software to allow www.shopperscritique.com and that you have set up Internet Explorer correctly:


  • Mozilla Firefox

    • Tools option on the menu bar.
    • Select Options from the menu.
    • Click the Content tab.
    • Either
      1. Uncheck Block pop-up windows (not recommended).
      2. Click the Exceptions button to the right of Block pop-up windows
      3. Type www.shopperscritique.com as the Address of web site:
      4. Click Allow button.
      5. Click Close button.

Finally: If you still experience problems logging in and you know your browser is correctly configured to accept our cookies, we may have incorrect information on file for you. Please use the Contact Us link on the left side of the screen or send an email to tech@shopperscritique.com with:

  • Your Shopper ID
  • Your Password
  • A description of the problems you’re encountering

Forgot your Shopper ID?

  1. Click on ID/Password Lookup on the left side of the screen or Need Your ID or Password? located on the login page.
  2. Enter your email address and click Request Shopper Info and your Shopper ID and Password will be sent to the email address you listed. If you are not registered or if your email address has changed, no information can be sent.
  3. If you still experience problems, please use the Contact Us link on the left side of the screen or send an email to tech@shopperscritique.com

How do I register?

  1. Click the Register button located on the login page.
  2. Complete the information on the registration form. Note that required fields are indicated with asterisks (*).
  3. To ensure accuracy, you must enter your email address and Social Security number or email confirmation (international shoppers) twice.
  4. Read your Independent Contractor Agreement carefully and thoroughly. If you agree to the terms therein, you will be asked to enter your Social Security number or confirm your email address (international shoppers) and click I AGREE. For more information regarding your SCI Independent Contractor Agreement, click HERE.
  5. After registering and accepting your Independent Contractor Agreement, you will be automatically logged in and your Shopper ID will be emailed to you.
  6. If an error occurs during registration or it states that your Social Security number or email address (international shoppers) is already in our database, please use the Contact Us link on the left side of the screen or email tech@shopperscritique.com with a description of the issue.

I am concerned about entering my Social Security number or other personal information online.

Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Any personal profile information entered is encrypted and cannot be viewed by anyone else on the web.

You can click on the Secured by Thawte icon on the Privacy Statement page to verify that our security certificate is valid.

Control of Personal Information:

Shoppers’ Critique International is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. SCI employs devices to monitor network traffic, to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, and to prevent denial of service attacks or other attacks intended to cause damage. Unauthorized modification of any information stored on our systems may result in criminal prosecution.

What is an Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA)?

Shoppers’ Critique International, LLC (SCI) requires all shoppers to agree to an Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) before performing any shops. The ICA outlines the relationship between SCI and our shoppers. This agreement can be terminated at any time by either party. We advise you read it carefully and thoroughly, discussing it with an attorney if you have any concerns. SCI staff can not offer legal counsel regarding the agreement nor can they authorize any modifications for any reason.

Can I view available shops?

  1. Once you are logged in, click Available Shops on the left side of the screen.
  2. A list of shops and brief descriptions will be displayed.
  3. By default, shops available in your state will be listed. You can view shops in other states or internationally by selecting the option from the list below the available shops.
  4. You can only view available shops if you are logged in.

Contact Us

  1. Contact Us links are located throughout our site, usually on the left hand side or at the bottom of the page.
  2. When you fill out the Contact Us form, one of our staff members will respond to you as quickly as possible. Our staff is unavailable after hours and on weekends.

I can not view/print certain pages or documents on the site.

Our site requires visitors to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to view and print certain pages. Some examples are the Independent Contractor Agreement and shop guidelines.

You may download the Acrobat Reader software at no cost from the Adobe website (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html).
