We rarely need that information and too often shoppers have sent it to us. We ask for your Social Security number only when you register a new account with us; if we need it again, we will call to get it verbally. Do not reply to any email attempts to obtain your Social Security number. In today's world of "phishing", parties often try to defraud people by posing as someone they are not and obtaining personal information. |
